Speaker Announcement! June 30th - Captain Kevin Miller of the Naval Aviation Museum.

Retired Captain Kevin Miller will be addressing Pensacola BizNet on Thursday morning June 30th. He is currently the Exective Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Naval Aviation Museum Foundation. He will speaking about why it is important to visit our national treasure, the Naval Aviation Museum, especially this centennial year.  

He graduated from the University of Mississippi and was designated a Naval Aviator in 1983. He flew the A-7E Corsair II and FA-18 Hornet.

In 1998 he commanded the “Gunslingers” of Strike Fighter Squadron One Zero Five aboard USS ENTERPRISE, participating in combat operations Desert Fox and Southern Watch. He subsequently served in the Pentagon on the Navy’s Office of Legislative Affairs staff. After leaving the service he was employed as an associate at two Washington DC defense consulting firms.


Captain Miller earned a Master of Science in Business Management from Florida State University and a Master of National Security Policy and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College. He has accumulated over 3,600 flight hours and 1,000 carrier landings from the decks of 11 aircraft carriers. His personal decorations include the Bronze Star, the Air Medal (with combat “V”), and two strike-flight Air Medals. He serves as Vice President for Legislative Affairs for the Tailhook Association, and lectures on the Battle of Midway.
